By engaging the services of Birthing Well Waters, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which outline the scope of services, responsibilities, and policies to ensure a clear and professional working relationship.
Scope of Services
Birthing Well Waters provides emotional, physical, informational, and spiritual support during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. As doulas, we do not offer medical advice or clinical care. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical concerns.
Communication
We offer 24/7 on-call support during the final weeks of pregnancy. For non-urgent matters, please allow up to 24 hours for a response.
Payment Policy
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Full payment is due by 36 weeks unless a payment plan has been arranged.
Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellations made at least two weeks before the service date are eligible for a refund, excluding the deposit. No refunds will be issued after 36 weeks. If we are unable to attend your birth, a backup doula will be provided or a partial refund will be issued.
Confidentiality
Your personal information is confidential. Birth stories or photos will only be shared with your written consent.
Cultural Sensitivity
We honor and respect all cultural, religious, and spiritual practices. Please share your preferences with us so we can best support your experience.
Liabililty
Our services are non-medical, and we are not responsible for medical decisions or outcomes. These remain the responsibility of the client and their healthcare provider.
